What makes the Hi & Light™ harness special?

It’s Ruffwear’s lightest harness – and it shows. No extra padding, no bulk, no restrictions. Just a streamlined Y-harness with four adjustment points and two leash attachment options. That means a custom fit and full function in a minimalist form.

An integrated pocket lets you stash tags or waste bags. And the low-profile design fits comfortably under layers – so it’s great in cold weather too.

Comfort meets performance – in the lightest design

Don’t be fooled by the minimalist look. The fabric resists dirt and wear, the reflective trim keeps your dog visible in the dark, and the back loop fits the Ruffwear Beacon™ safety light.

The rear aluminum V-ring ensures control during walks, while the reinforced front loop helps redirect pulling – ideal for younger dogs or leash training.

Who is the Hi & Light™ for – and when is it not the best fit?

The Hi & Light™ shines on small to medium-sized dogs, slender body types, and any pup that prefers a barely-there feel. It’s also great for seniors or dogs sensitive to pressure.

It may not be ideal for dogs with wide chests or strong pullers – in those cases, Ruffwear’s Front Range™ or Flagline™ may provide more control and support.
