Comfort that lets you stay – longer, deeper, wilder

When your favorite part of camping isn’t moving, but sitting still – the Kelty Deluxe Lounge Chair gets it.
At the lake, by the van, on a mountaintop at golden hour – this chair was made for lingering. For soaking in the view. For staying a little longer than planned.

Padded, reclinable, cleverly designed – and yes, insanely comfortable.

What makes the Deluxe Lounge special?

Let’s be honest – most camp chairs aren’t built for real comfort.
But the Deluxe Lounge is: It features a three-position reclining backrest, so you can go from social upright mode to stargazing tilt in seconds.

The quilted 600D polyester seat is thick and insulating, making it cozy even after sunset.
And because no perfect sit-down moment is complete without a drink, you get two insulated, adjustable cup holders – one for now, one for later.

Our favorite part? The padded carry bag doubles as a blanket or dog mat – soft, water-resistant, and just as smart as the rest of the chair. Because camp gear should do more than one job.

Where comfort meets clever design

The powder-coated steel frame holds up to 325 lbs and folds in seconds. Despite its full-size comfort, it stores compactly – ideal for van life, road trips, or simply not filling the whole trunk.

The seat height of 19" makes it easy to get in and out, even for tall folks or tired legs after a hike.
And the quilted padding not only feels great – it keeps its shape use after use, season after season.

Whether you’re curling up with a book, sipping something cold, or just watching the clouds drift by – this chair makes being still feel like an adventure.

Who is this chair for – and when not?

Perfect for:

  • Campers who value comfort, support, and build quality

  • Vanlifers or festival-goers who like to settle in and stay

  • Dog lovers – the carry bag as dog mat is a gamechanger

Less ideal for:

  • Ultralight backpackers – this chair’s not meant for miles on your back

  • Very low camp tables – the seat height is generous, which may not pair well with compact setups

Our take – Deluxe Lounge at campanions

The Deluxe Lounge is what we reach for when we’re not rushing.
It’s a chair that doesn’t just hold you – it welcomes you. With real comfort, clever details, and that little extra that makes it feel like home outdoors.

If your idea of a perfect trip includes slow mornings, sunset drinks, and a dog at your feet – this might just be your new favorite place to sit.
