Safety First

With reflective stitching and a handy loop on the back for a safety light, you will always be visible in twilight and darkness. But safety also means, for example, that my dog cannot slip out of the harness so easily - which would be an absolute disadvantage in dangerous situations with anxious dogs. Equally important for safety are the 3 possible attachment points for the leash. This gives you the option of double securing your dog, which can be advantageous on the street, in town, or even for safe release on steep slopes.

Why no mesh padding?

Yes, we always thought so. A dog harness should have light, breathable padding in the chest area and of course in the back area.

What could be better than mesh?

Unfortunately, we had to realize that on the one hand, the comfort is probably only better in our eyes, and on the other hand, we have two tomboys who love to romp through high grassy meadows. Until then, we had never given it a second thought until our big one suddenly started throwing herself on the ground like crazy, rolling around and trying to get rid of something. What do you do? Of course you look to see what's bothering her. There's nothing in the fur, you don't see any mosquitoes, you don't feel any itchy skin, and you think to yourself - okay - she's just having a few minutes.

But - it takes the whole walk and even in the car she tries to rub and scrub wherever she can. Arrived at home, took off the harness, turned around and lo and behold - a lot of grains and grass seeds got caught in the mesh, which of course poked directly into her skin. A quick examination of Nika revealed two grains that had already bored into its flesh.

This is why we especially appreciate the lightweight, double-layer, closed construction of the back and belly panels. These are also "fur-repellent".
