This semi-universal vehicle awning was designed precisely for this purpose, so that you can also cook outside, protected from the weather, relaxing or simply sitting together. This tarp can be easily attached to the vehicle by an sophisticated strap system and is ideal especially for tailgate kitchens to create a larger covered space for cooking, playing and enjoying.
In the now optimized version of the Original Waypoint Tarp, the Screen Waypoint also features a mosquito net that creates a completely screened space and protects you from those pesky mosquitoes. If you don't need the mosquito net, you can simply roll it up sideways and fix it at the attachment points.
With the sturdy one-pole construction, you can move around freely in your newly created space and leave it permanently installed, even in wind and weather. For us, these flexible awnings are much more comfortable to use than a permanently installed vehicle awning, which would most likely be inconvenient on our off-road trips. Weather protection is also better with this system - at least that's our impression, as they offer protection on the sides as well.
