Whether in a van, a tent or a roof tent, there is always one problem: condensation. With a cotton shell, this can be quite difficult. Cotton absorbs water very quickly, but dries very slowly.
Polyester, on the other hand, also absorbs moisture, but dries much faster and therefore provides a better sleeping environment on our outdoor adventures.

Caring for your Kelty Galactic down quilt

Kelty's Galactic down duvet requires care just like a down sleeping bag. In other words, don't roll it up to pack it away, but simply stuff it back into its stuff sacks one piece at a time (yes, that's right).

This applies to all down filled products - do not squeeze the down into any shape or you will lose the bounce and the warmth.

The best way to store your down products at home is to keep them unpacked and loose.

By the way, a great way to clean down is to hang your jacket, sleeping bag, or whatever you have filled with down in the bathtub while you take a really hot shower! Then hang it out to dry and it will be fresh and ready to use again.
