Enamel camping dishes with a real glamping factor

Double fired, this enamel camping set is extremely durable and is ideal for outdoor use. Not only does it have a beautiful, contrasting bronze rim, but it also has a flawless appearance and surface finish.

Why do we love enamel camping dishes?

It's not for nothing that enamel cookware has been around for centuries. Durable, sturdy, and completely safe to use, enamel cookware is not only a great companion on the road, but is also used every day at home.

Thanks to its glass-like surface, it is wonderfully easy to clean. A fact that pays off when you're out and about. There's no need for harsh detergents or long rinsing cycles, just a quick soak in warm water and a wipe with a soft cloth.

And, of course, we are big fans of the vintage look that enamel dishes give off.

Why enamel instead of melamine?

Just from a health perspective, we would always choose enamel, even if melamine would be lighter.
If melamine is used at high temperatures - the average temperature is about 70 degrees Celsius - formaldehyde can escape from the material because of the heat. A substance that has been proven to be carcinogenic and harmful to health. This is where enamel comes into its own. There is nothing to worry about.

Furthermore, enamel is much more scratch-resistant than melamine and can be fully recycled, which is only really necessary after a long lifecycle thanks to the durability of enamel products.
